I have been designing and creating databases for approximately 11 years. It is a large part of my job at the University of Wales Aberystwyth
Much of my work involves designing and creating database that are subsequently made available via the World Wide Web. I've predominantly used the following relational database management systems for this:

In addition to creating databases I recently had the opportunity to provide teaching support on the COM7020 databases module of the University of Wales Aberystwyth Diploma/MSc course in Computing in Singapore.
